Calf and Lamb day

On Thursday my school had calf and lamb day, I did really well. I got 2nd leading, 2nd in rearing, and also reserve  champion for rearing, then I got 4th in dairy type. It was such bad weather, but everybody who took an animal was in rain coasts and jackets.

Sorry about the last post I have been very busy, our calf and lamb day was on the 22nd of October.

New Zealand shake out

On Thursday the 15th, my school (Opunake primary) participated in the Shake Out. The alarms went off at 9:15am and our whole school did the earthquake drill. Then we had to go out to the field. This photo is just use our class reenacting what happened.

Art in Class

This is the image I used.
In class we have been doing our art for calf and lamb day. We are learning to make accurate observations of shape and colour. I found doing this really hard to do because I did this cow picture. We had to practice  blending colours on a piece of scrap paper. We then we had to do our good copy which was very frustrating be I got through it. I haven't got a pic of my art that I did but I will put it up.

I did not take this photo
On the 7th, which was yesterday my family went to Airzone, well apart from my sister who is in Bali. I thought it was wicked. Mum booked it for an hour, it was plenty of time to bounce.  My favourite part of Air Zone was the foam pit. It was the hardest thing to do because once you got buried in the foam squares it was really hard to get out. Angus my brother who is 5 loved it. He had to be pulled out a lot because once he jumped in he went to the bottom, and wasn't stronger another to pull himself out. Luckily there were people who helped us out. there is a flying fox it was so fun. I differently would go there again.
